``Load'' - load a volume into vfx memory

IMPROMPTU name:

Load.

purpose:

Load an ANALYZE-format or compressed (.rle) volume into an IMPROMPTU volume slot.

input:

Name of input volume

output:

Volume is loaded/decompressed into a specified IMPROMPTU slot.

parameters:

Default parameters menu is

image_compressed (.rle)? = N or Y

This function looks for the ANALYZE-format volume and tries to load it into the specified IMPROMPTU volume slot. If the volume is not located in the current working directory, the pathname to the volume must be specified. If the image is compressed, it will uncompress it using the Run Length Decoding algorithm and load it in the specified slot.

comments:

The image_compressed parameter is not required in the load command to input a uncompressed image.
